4.2 Structural length of various marine flange-connected metal valves The structural length of straight-through valves, rotary valves, ball valves, and swing check valves shall be based on the basic series (1). The structural length of right-angle valves shall be based on the basic series (2). The structural length of gate valves shall be based on the basic series (3) or (6). The structural length of wafer-type butterfly valves and wafer-type butterfly check valves shall be based on the basic series (4) or (5). Additional notes:
