This standard applies to the determination of the migration of disperse and vat dyes during the intermediate drying process. The migration of dyes is evaluated by the migration rate (measurement of reflectance or transmission value) or by visual inspection. 1 Materials and instruments
t.1 Fabric material: refined bleached mercerized polyester-cotton khaki (polyester/cotton is 65/35), with a yarn count of 42×21 and a density of 135×70. The size of the test fabric is 110 mm×220 mm. 1.2 Color fastness fading sample card (GB250-84). 1.3 Surface: diameter 90 mm.
1.4 Aluminum ring, outer diameter 110 mm, inner diameter 80 mm, thickness 1 mm. 1.5 Stationery clips.
1.6 Laboratory roller and hot melt machine (or electric blast oven). 2 Reagents and solutions
Dimethylformamide: analytical grade.
36% acetic acid (1IC3-1095-77): analytical grade. 2.2
Sodium hydroxide (GB629-81): analytical grade. Hydroxide (HG2-809-75): chemical grade. 2.4
2.5 Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVPK-30): chemical grade. 2.6 Disodium tetraethyl diamine (GB1401-78): analytical grade. Preparation of disperse dye extract;
Each liter of solution contains 800 ml of dimethylformamide, 200 ml of water, and 5 ml of 36% acetic acid. 2.8 Preparation of vat dye benzene solution:
Each liter of aqueous solution contains 10 g of sodium hydride, 10 g of hydrosulfite, 20 g of polydiene pyrrolidone, and 5 g of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disene. 3 Test method
3.1 Test conditions
Dyeing depth: 20 g/L for disperse dyes and 25 g/L for vat dyes. Rolling rate: 60% (one diffuse and one roll).
Intermediate drying: the lower drying temperature is 100°C and the drying time is 7 minutes. 3.2 Dye sample preparation
First, evenly immerse a piece of test fabric in the roll dye solution for 1 minute, then roll it according to the specified roll rate, and then immediately place the sample on the needle plate frame of the hot melt machine (or oven), fix it and pull it. Place a piece of surface dye on the front and back of the same position at one end of the sample, and then fix the surface dye with a pair of aluminum rings and stationery clips (see the figure below). At the specified temperature and time, pass the sample through a hot melt machine (or place it in an oven) for intermediate drying. After drying, remove the sample from the needle plate frame, remove the clamp, aluminum ring and surface blood, and place it at room temperature for 1 hour for use.

3.3 Evaluation method
GB4464-84
[Fabric, 2-Surface 3-Stationery: 4-Aluminum ring 3.3.1 And measure
Refer to the half-color sample card (referred to as gray card), and visually evaluate the color difference between the covered part and the covered part of the sample. When the color difference is equivalent to gray card 1-5 levels or more, the dye migration is small, and the color difference is equivalent to gray card 3-4 levels of migration, etc.: When the color difference is below gray 3 levels, the dye migration is relatively strong. 3.3.2 Measurement of reflection value
Use a colorimeter to measure the surface reflection of the covered part (A) and the covered part (B) of the sample (A and B are about 100 mm apart), and convert it into color depth value (K/S) according to formula (1), and calculate the white migration rate M according to formula (2): KS =wwW.bzxz.Net
M = 100 [1

GB 4464—84
Color depth value of the uncovered part (B) of the sample: the reflectance value of the sample surface at the wavelength of maximum absorption. 3.3.3 Measurement of transmittance value
Weigh 0.1000 g of fabric from points A and B on the sample respectively, cut into small pieces and place in a 50 ml volumetric flask, then add extract to the scale (select the extract according to the type of dye). When the flask is sealed, the dye on the fabric is taken out, and the absorbance D of the extract is measured at the wavelength of maximum absorption using a photoelectric spectrophotometer. Calculate the percentage migration rate M according to formula (3): = 100 (
