This standard is a revision of JB/T7988.3-1995 "Marking and Packaging of Artificial Diamond or Cubic Boron Nitride". This standard modifies and supplements the measurement units and packaging requirements of packaging quantity in JB/T7988.3-1995 to make it more perfect. This standard is renamed "Marking and Packaging of Superhard Abrasives". This standard replaces JB/T7988.3—1995 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Abrasives and Grinding Tools. The drafting unit of this standard: Zhengzhou Abrasives and Grinding Research Institute. The main drafter of this standard: Huang Xiangfen.
This standard was first issued as JB2808-79 and JB3049-82, and was revised for the first time as GB6406.5-86 in May 1986. The standard number was adjusted to JB/T7988.3--1995 in April 1996. This is the second revision. 1 Scope

2.1 The label of the packaging must clearly indicate: trademark, factory name, variety, brand, particle size, packaging quantity and batch number. A certificate of conformity shall be attached. 2.2 The certificate of conformity shall indicate: variety, batch number, inspection stamp. 2.3 The certificate of conformity shall indicate the actual measured value of bulk density. 3 Packaging
3.1 Packaging
3.1.1 The product packaging is allowed to be packaged in self-sealing transparent plastic bags. The hot pressing seams of plastic bags made of polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride must be tight, and the self-sealing must be firm.
3.1.2 The product packaging is also allowed to be packaged in transparent organic glass bottles, but they must have double-layer bottle caps, and the outer bottle caps must be screwed tightly. 3.2 Packaging quantity
The finished product should be packed in 1g, 2g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g, 1000g. 3.3 Packaging requirements
3.3.1 When using double-layer plastic bags for packaging, the certificate of conformity should be placed between the two layers. 3.3.2 The label should be firmly attached to the packaging. 3.4 Special requirements or export products should be packed according to the contract requirements.
