This standard is a revision of JB/T7986-1995 (source GB5996-86) Chrome Corundum Technical Conditions. This standard divides chrome corundum abrasives into 100PA, 45PA, and 20PA materials according to the different uses of Cr, O, and content, so as to facilitate the production and selection of enterprises and users.
This standard replaces JB/T7986-1995 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Abrasives and Grinding Tools Standardization Technical Committee. This standard is drafted by Sand Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are Ma Chao and Guo E. 191

Chemical composition shall be tested in accordance with GB/T3044, 5.1
Density shall be tested in accordance with JB/T7984.3, and tensile composition shall be tested in accordance with GB/T2481.1. 5.3
Ferroalloy and magnetic materials shall be inspected according to the provisions of JB/T6570. 5.4
