This standard applies to gas holders used for gas storage, buffering, mixing, and pressure stabilization in the chemical and petrochemical industries, and can also be used as gas holders in the metallurgical and city gas industries. To all provincial, autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government, and independently planned cities, and all relevant units: The five industry standards including "Plunger-type Discharge Valve" (name and number of the standard are in the attachment) formulated by the Ministry's Equipment Design Technology Center have been reviewed and are now approved as recommended industry standards. They will be implemented on November 1, 1995. The five standards are managed by the Ministry's Equipment Design Technology Center Station and published and distributed by the Ministry's Engineering Construction Standards Editing Center.
