This standard is revised on the basis of the original YB/T5289-—1999 "Determination Method of Electrode Paste Elongation". Compared with the original standard, the following modifications and supplements are made:
Increased the allowable error of the sample length;
Modified the pressure range of the press;
Modified the dimension marking of the measuring instrument schematic diagram. From the date of implementation, this standard replaces YB/T'5289—1999 "Determination Method of Electrode Paste Elongation". 3 Principle
Numerical rounding rules
The sample is kept at 200℃ for 1h, and the percentage of the relative length of the sample after heating is the elongation of the electrode paste. Instruments and equipment

5 Sample preparation
5.1 Take samples according to the provisions of GB/T1427. Under the premise of not destroying the original particle size composition as much as possible, crush the samples to less than 25mm, the quantity shall not be less than 1kg, and reduce them by quartering method, and take 200g for forming. 5.2 Weigh 65g of the sample, accurate to 0.1g, and place it together with the mold in an oven at 145℃±5℃, keep warm for 30min (stir every 10min), quickly take it out and put it into the molding mold, put it on the press to press it into a sample with a diameter of 25mm and a length of 79mm~82mm, and cool it with water. After taking it out of the mold, grind the two end faces flat to use as the sample for measuring elongation. 6 Test steps
6.1 Use a caliper to accurately measure the length of the molded sample, weigh the mass with a pan balance and record it. 6.2 Place the sample in the measuring slot of the measuring instrument (the upper end of the sample is 30mm away from the upper edge of the slot), and steadily move it into the oven that has been kept at a constant temperature of 200℃±5℃, and keep it warm for 1h.
6.3 Take out the measuring instrument, quickly use a caliper to measure the length of the sample and record it. 7 Test results
The elongation of the sample is calculated by the following formula:

5 Sample preparation
