5. Cable reels shall meet the requirements of this standard and be manufactured according to the unified drawings. 6. The surface of the cable reel parts shall be smooth and free of defects such as dents, burrs, cracks, etc. 7. Turn the cable reel to check whether it rotates lightly and smoothly, and whether the brush and the friction surface of the slip ring are in full contact. 8. The cable reel is fixed to the base with bolts, and welding is also allowed. 9. The friction surface of the manufactured cable reel should be coated with lubricating oil, and the other surfaces should be coated with anti-rust primer and color paint (color paint should be applied after installation on the ship).
10. The main parts of the cable reel with collector ring shall be made of materials according to Table 4. Table 4
