1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the dimensions of welded joints and grooves of steel pipe flanges (American system) connected to steel pipes. This standard is applicable to steel pipe flanges specified in the new H620615. 11

The dimensions of the welding end and the opening of the neck welding flange connected to the steel pipe shall comply with the requirements of Figure 5-1~2. If the thickness of the straight edge section of the neck welding flange exceeds the wall thickness of the steel pipe connected to it by 1In, the straight edge section of the flange shall be thinned at the inner diameter, and the slope of the thinned section shall be less than or equal to 1.3, as required in Figure 53. 37.5°±2.5°
