Summary:
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage that cast iron drying cylinders for papermaking machinery must have as pressure vessels. This standard applies to drying cylinders and blanket drying cylinders (hereinafter collectively referred to as "drying cylinders") with an outer diameter of no more than 3800mm and a working pressure of no more than 0.8MPa for papermaking machines, board machines and pulp machines.
