Test method of brake performance for motorcycles and mopedsBraking force
1 Subject and scope of application
GB/T 5382.2--1996
Replaces GB5382-85
This standard specifies the test apparatus or equipment, test conditions and test methods for the braking force of the braking performance of motorcycles and mopeds. This standard applies to the braking force test of motorcycles and mopeds (except off-road vehicles and racing cars). 2 Referenced standards
GB/T5378 General principles for road tests of motorcycles and mopeds 3 Test apparatus or equipment
Brake test bench, minimum reading is 10N.
Requirements for other test apparatus shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T5378. 4 Test conditions
4.1 The test vehicle shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T5378. 4.2 The test vehicle shall be in full equipment quality state, and the driver quality and loading quality configuration method shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T5378. 4.3 The tread depth of the test vehicle tires shall not be worn more than 20%. 4.4 The brakes and tires of the test vehicle shall be kept clean and dry, and shall not be contaminated with sand, oil, etc. 5 Test method
5.1 Weigh the distributed mass of each wheel when carrying a driver, and the driver's feet should be placed on the footrest. 5.2 The test vehicle shall be driven into the test bench perpendicular to the rolling direction, and the front wheels or rear wheels and side wheels (when brakes are installed) shall be driven between the two rollers respectively. The non-rigid wheels shall be fixed with clamping devices, and the driver's sitting posture and position shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T5378. 5.3 The test vehicle with neutral gear shall be put in neutral gear.
5.4 Gradually apply force to the brake control device until the braking force value indicated on the instrument reaches the maximum value. 5.5 The braking force test of the two rear wheels of the three-wheeled vehicle should be carried out simultaneously. 5.6 When carrying out the braking force test, the driver shall not change the prescribed sitting posture and position; it is allowed to operate each brake control device at the same time. 5.7 The braking force test of each wheel shall be carried out three times respectively, and the data shall be recorded in the table of Appendix A (Supplement). The maximum value of the three test values shall be taken as the braking force value of each wheel of the test vehicle.
5.8 Calculate the ratio of the maximum braking force to the distributed mass according to the following formula: Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on April 10, 1996 and implemented on November 1, 1996
Wherein: A-
GB/T 5382.2
-Ratio of the maximum braking force of each wheel to the distributed mass, %;
M-Distributed mass of each wheel, kg,
-Gravity acceleration, m/s2.
·100%
The calculated value shall be rounded off to two decimal places and recorded in the table in Appendix A. 144
