Summary:
This standard specifies the method of stacking test using pressure testing machine for transport packages. This test is suitable for evaluating the compressive strength of transport packages when stacked and the protection of the contents. It can be used as a single test to study the effects of pressure on packages (deformation, creep, crushing or rupture), or as a component of a series of tests. 1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the method for stacking test of transport packages using compression tester. This test is suitable for evaluating the compressive strength of transport packages when stacking and the protection of the contents. It can be used as a single test to study the effects of pressure on packages (deformation, mite change, crushing or rupture), or as a component of a series of tests. 2 Reference standards
GB3538 Method for marking various parts of transport packages GB4857.2 Basic tests for transport packages Temperature and humidity adjustment treatment 3 Test principle
Place the package on the lower platen of the pressure testing machine, then lower the upper platen to apply pressure to the package. The applied pressure, atmospheric conditions, duration, pressure-bearing conditions and the placement status of the package are carried out according to the predetermined plan. 4 Test equipment
4.1 Pressure testing machineWww.bzxZ.net
The pressure testing machine can be driven by a motor, mechanical transmission or hydraulic transmission, which can make the platen move evenly and apply a predetermined pressure. 4.1.1 Platen rigidity
The platen should have sufficient rigidity. When checking the platen rigidity, place a 100mm×100mm×100mm hard wooden block at the center of the lower platen. When the pressure testing machine applies 75% of the maximum rated load to the wooden block through the upper platen, the deformation of any point on the surface of the upper and lower plates shall not exceed 1mm.
4.1.2 Platen size
The platen size should exceed the overall size of the package and the area of the contact module. 4.1.3 Platen unevenness
The working surface of the platen should be flat, and the height difference between the highest point and the lowest point of the working surface should not exceed 1mm. 4.1.4 Platen inclination
The platen should be in a horizontal state during the entire test, and its horizontal inclination should be kept within 0.2%. Or use a universal joint to fix it in the center of the upper platen so that the upper platen can tilt freely in any direction. 4.2 Load recording device
Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on December 25, 1990 and implemented on October 1, 1991
GB/T 4857.16-90
The load error recorded by the device shall not exceed ±2% of the applied pressure. 4.3 Device for applying a predetermined load
The device for applying the load (such as a load plate, etc.) should maintain the predetermined load value for a predetermined time. During the predetermined time, the actual load fluctuation should not exceed ±4%; at the same time, the relative displacement of the platens should maintain the vertical displacement of the upper platen required for this load, including when studying the performance of the package under specific load conditions (for example, when the package stacked at the bottom of the shelf is on a lattice tray; when the pressure load is not applied to the entire surface of the package under test; when an appropriate mold is inserted between the package and the pressure tester plate to simulate a similar downward pressure load encountered in practice).
4.4 Facility for measuring deflection
This facility is required to be accurate to ±1mm and can indicate both an increase in size and a decrease in size. 5 Test procedure
5.1 Preparation of test samples
The package used for the test should usually be filled with pre-filled objects, or a simulant or model can be used, but the size and physical properties of the simulant should be as close as possible to the pre-filled object. The packaging method and sealing should ensure that they meet the normal transportation requirements. The packaging method and sealing when using simulants or models should also meet the requirements of normal transportation.
5.2 Numbering of various parts of the test sample
Number and mark various parts of the test sample in accordance with GB3538. 5.3 Pretreatment of test samples
Select a condition to pretreatment the test sample with temperature and humidity according to GB4857.2. 5.4 Temperature and humidity conditions during the test
The test should be carried out under the same temperature and humidity conditions as the pretreatment. If the same conditions cannot be achieved, the test must be started within 5 minutes after the test sample leaves the pretreatment conditions.
5.5 Test steps
5.5.1 Record the temperature and humidity of the test site.
5.5.2 Place the test sample in the center of the lower pressure plate according to the predetermined state. For test items with specific conditions, the necessary molds should be installed. 5.5.3 Move the two pressure plates relative to each other or move the upper pressure plate so that the upper pressure plate contacts the sample. The load value is generally increased step by step from small to large. The pressure condition of the package is checked and recorded in detail every time the load is increased. The maximum load value should not exceed the preset value. If the preset value is not reached, the pressure package has been deformed, crushed or is in danger, the test should be terminated. It can also be pressed down once or until it is destroyed according to the preset value. When the load reaches the preset value, continue for the preset time and observe its changes. 5.5.4 Move the pressure plate, remove the load, and inspect the package. 6 Test report
The test report should include the following contents:
Application of this standard:
The number and placement status of the test samples;
Detailed description of the size, structure and material specifications of the packaging container, cushioning, support, fixing method, sealing, bundling status and other protective measures:
d. Name, specification, model, quantity, etc. of contents; e.
Mass of test sample and contents in dry gram (kg); temperature, relative humidity and time of pretreatment; total load (in Newton (N), including the weight of the load plate) and duration; g
Type of equipment used and mode of operation;
Type of simulation module used and its placement;
GB/T 4857.16--90
Location of deviation measurement points on the package and the test procedure in which these deviation measurements are made; record of test results and any phenomena observed that are helpful for the correct interpretation of the test results; date;
Signature and seal of the test unit personnel.
