JB/T 3042-1999 This standard is a revision of JB 3042-82 "Series Parameters of Clamping Cylinders for Modular Machine Tools". This standard adopts ISO 3320:1975 "Metric Series of Cylinder Bore and Piston Rod Diameters for Hydraulic Transmission Systems and Components" in a non-equivalent manner. According to the needs of modular machine tools, cylinder bores below 16mm and above 200mm and piston rods below 8mm and above 63mm are not adopted, and parameters such as piston rod stroke that are not specified in international standards are supplemented. This standard specifies series parameters such as cylinder bore diameter, piston rod diameter and stroke of clamping cylinders for modular machine tools. This standard is applicable to single-piston rod or double-piston rod clamping cylinders for modular machine tools, and the smaller cylinder bore diameter is also applicable to positioning cylinders. This standard is revised on the basis of JB3042-82 "Series Parameters for Clamping Cylinders for Modular Machine Tools". This standard adopts ISO3320:1975 "Hydraulic transmission systems and components - Cylinder bore and piston rod diameter - Metric series" in a non-equivalent manner. According to the needs of modular machine tools, the cylinder bore diameter below 16mm and above 200mm and the piston rod diameter below 8mm and above 63mm are not adopted, and the parameters such as piston rod stroke that are not specified in the international standard are supplemented. This standard is consistent with the technical content of JB3042-82, and has only been re-edited according to relevant regulations. This standard replaces JB3042-82 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Metal Cutting Machine Tools. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Modular Machine Tool Branch of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Metal Cutting Machine Tools. The responsible drafting unit of this standard is: Dalian Modular Machine Tool Research Institute. This standard was first issued in 1982.

This standard specifies the series parameters of the cylinder bore diameter, piston rod diameter and stroke of the clamping cylinders of modular machine tools. This standard is applicable to the single piston rod or double piston rod clamping cylinders of modular machine tools, among which the smaller cylinder bore diameter is also applicable to the positioning cylinder. 2 Series Parameters of Cylinders
