1 Subject content and scope of application

This standard specifies the test method for vertical axis deviation of glass bottles. This standard is applicable to the measurement of vertical axis deviation of glass bottles. 2 Terminology
Vertical axis deviation - the horizontal deviation from the center of the bottle mouth to the vertical line passing through the center of the bottle bottom. The vertical axis deviation of the bottle specified in this standard refers to half the diameter of the circle made by the center of the bottle mouth around the bottom axis when the bottle bottom axis rotates one circle.
3 Test and its requirements
3.1 The instrument requirements are to ensure that the bottle bottom is placed horizontally and the deviation of the bottle mouth from the vertical axis can be obtained. 3.2 The measurement of the square teeth depends on the type of instrument used: a. Through measurement with a level ruler
b. Dial indicator or reading microscope;
c. Magnified projection method on the ruler.
3.3 The instrument consists of a rotating base with a nitrogen clamp and a vertical column with a dial indicator or reading microscope, or a base plate with a V-shaped block and a vertical column with a level ruler or dial indicator. The dial indicator, reading microscope or water gauge should be able to adjust the height and horizontal position.
3.4 The tool for measuring the deviation is placed outside the edge of the bottle mouth. Example 3.5 For bottles that are not round, a tool that can clamp the bottle in the center of the rotating base plate should be used for measurement. Note 1 Other types of instruments that meet the accuracy requirements can also be used. 4 Samples
The test should be carried out on a predetermined number of bottles. The samples should meet the test requirements, and bottles with serious deformation of the bottom should be removed. 5 Test step rate
5.1 The bottle is clamped on a horizontal plate and the base plate is rotated 360°. If a V-shaped block is used for measurement, the sample case is placed on the V-shaped block. During measurement, a downward pressure is applied to the sample at a direction of 45° to the horizontal plane, and the bottle is rotated 360°. 5.2 Record the maximum and minimum distances from the outside of the bottle mouth edge to the fixed point. The vertical axis deviation is half of the difference between the maximum and minimum values measured.
5.3 The measurement accuracy is 0.1 mm.
5.4 The vertical axis deviation is obtained according to the accuracy. 6 Test report
The test report should include the following contents:
