73.1 Characteristics
Salmonella forms colorless, smooth and moist colonies on the DHL elastic plate about 2m long. Some bacteria have black centers or are completely black. On the SS plate, it forms colorless, semi-transparent and smooth colonies with a diameter of 1-1.5m. The bacteria produce low oxygen content but the amount is unknown. The colonies are inoculated with TS1 and placed in KI (36 ± 1) for 18-24 days. It can be seen that the material produces acid or not, produces acid completely, produces gas or not, and is chemically positive or agglomerated. Only the bacteria that produce alkali-positive properties on the inclined surface can be ruled out, and other reaction results are all possible Salmonella.
