Test method for compressive properties of resin casting body
1 Subject and scope of application
GB/T2569-1995
Replaces GB2569-81
This standard specifies the method for determining the compressive strength, compressive elastic modulus and load-deformation curve by applying static compressive load to the specimen. This standard applies to castings of resin for fiber-reinforced plastics and special casting resins. It is not applicable to castings of flexible resins. 2 Test specimen
2.1 The shape and size of the specimen are shown in Figure 1.
Unit, mm
Figure 1 Compression specimen
2.2 During the test, if there is instability, the specimen height is 15±0.5mm. When a deformation meter is required to be installed on the specimen to determine the compressive elastic modulus, the specimen height is 30-40mm.
2.3 The upper and lower ends of the specimen are required to be parallel to each other and perpendicular to the center line of the specimen. The non-parallelism should be less than 0.1% of the specimen height. 2.4 The number of specimens shall be in accordance with Chapter 3 of GB/T2567-1995. 3 Test conditions
3.1 The test environment conditions shall be in accordance with Chapter 4 of GB/T2567-1995. 3.2 The test equipment shall be in accordance with Chapter 7 of GB/T2567-1995. 3.3 The loading pressure head of the testing machine shall be flat and smooth, and have a spherical support that can adjust the parallelism of the upper and lower pressure plates. 3.4 When measuring the compressive strength, the test speed is 5mm/min; when measuring the elastic modulus and load-deformation curve, the speed is 2mm/min. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on December 20, 1995, and implemented on August 1, 1996
4 Test steps
GB/T2569-1995
4.1 Sample preparation shall be in accordance with Chapter 2 of GB/T2567-1995. 4.2 Sample appearance inspection shall be in accordance with Chapter 3 of GB/T2567-1995. 4.3 Sample state adjustment shall be in accordance with Chapter 5 of GB/T2567-1995. 4.4 Number the samples, measure the width and thickness of any three locations of the samples (measure the diameter of any three locations of type 1 samples), and take the arithmetic mean. The measurement accuracy shall be in accordance with Chapter 6 of GB/T2567-1995.
4.5 Place the sample so that the center line of the sample is aligned with the center line of the upper and lower pressure plates, ensure that the end face of the sample is parallel to the surface of the pressure plate, adjust the testing machine so that the surface of the pressure plate just contacts the end face of the sample, and set this time as the zero point for measuring deformation. 4.6 When measuring the compressive elastic modulus and load-deformation curve, install a deformation measuring instrument between the upper and lower pressure plates and the contact surface of the sample or in the middle of the sample height. Check the instrument, start the testing machine, and apply the load at the specified speed. Within 40% of the breaking load, record the load and the corresponding deformation value at a certain time. There is an automatic recording device and continuous loading can be carried out. 4.7 When measuring the compressive strength, apply a uniform and continuous load to the sample at a specified speed until it breaks or reaches the maximum load, and read the breaking load or maximum load.
4.8 Samples with instability and end extrusion damage should be discarded. When there are less than 5 valid samples in the same batch, the test should be repeated. 5 Calculation
5.1 The compressive strength is calculated according to formula (1)
0.-F= 6h=元d2
Where: o. —-—Compressive strength, MPa;
F-—Cross-sectional area of the specimen, mm;
b-—Width of the specimen, mm;
Thickness of the specimen, mm;
d-—Diameter of the specimen, mm.
5.2 The compressive elastic modulus is calculated according to formula (2).
Where: E. Compressive elastic modulus, MPa;
Element d2·A
-The load increment corresponding to the initial straight line segment on the load-deformation curve, N; △L--The deformation increment within L corresponding to the load increment △P, mm; L.--The original height of the specimen or the gauge length of the instrument installed in the middle of the specimen height, m. The rest is the same as formula (1).
