This standard specifies the representation method of degrees in the People's Republic of China. It is applicable to information exchange between any information processing systems. This standard includes one-digit and three-digit codes. The first digit code indicates the level and title of the degree, and the second and third digit codes indicate the subject category of the degree. bZxz.net
2The names of the degree levels, titles and subject categories used in this standard are determined in accordance with the "Provisional Implementation Measures for the Degree Regulations of the People's Republic of China" adopted at the 1st enlarged meeting of the State Council Degree Committee and approved by the State Council. The degree of military science was added by the decision of the 1st meeting of the State Council Degree Committee.
