This standard is a revision of JB/T7966.3-95 (original GB6336.3-86) "Mold milling cutter Morse taper shank cylindrical ball head end mill". During the revision, only editorial changes were made according to relevant regulations, and the technical content remained unchanged. The original standard non-equivalently adopted the standard series and long series in the international standard ISO1641/2-1978 "End mills and keyway milling cutters Part 2: Morse taper shank milling cutters".
