Several issues to be noted in seed quality inspection (supplement)
A.1 The moisture content of the seeds of the family forage grass south of the Yangtze River may be slightly higher than this standard, but not higher than 15%. A.2 Non-quarantine pests and diseases shall be restricted by provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions according to specific circumstances. A.3 When determining the germination rate of seeds of golden cauliflower, Mongolian rock astragalus, two-color Lespedeza, Guyana style flower, and dwarf style flower, the germination rate measured after removing the peel shall prevail. A.4 The germination rate of the seeds of the forage grasses of the family shall be measured after puncturing or cutting the seed coat. A.5 The germination rate of the seeds of the small crown flower shall be measured after soaking in hot water at 70-80℃ and cooling naturally for 12-15 hours. A.6 Forage seeds below grade 3 shall not be purchased or sold, and shall not be used as seeds. A.7 The inspection of various indicators shall be carried out in accordance with GB2930-82 "Inspection Procedures for Forage Seeds". Additional remarks:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of the People's Republic of China.
