This standard applies to the determination of brushability of coating paint. It is evaluated according to the appearance and coating condition of the painted surface. 、-

Paint brush: width 50~65 mm;
Wooden frame: 560×400 mm (calculated according to the inner edge), wooden strips 35 mm thick and 25 mm wide; Cover cloth: No. 114 mercerized plain cloth;
Balance: sensitivity is 0.1 gram.
II. Determination method
According to the length and width of the wooden frame, remove a piece of cloth at the places where the cloth is reduced by 4 mm (length) and 3 mm (width) respectively, tighten the cloth, align the thread seam with the outer edge of the frame, and use thumbtacks to pin it to the frame. Use a paint brush to alternately apply two layers of paint in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the cloth. The paint brush should not be moved multiple times. The interval time between each layer and the amount of paint applied per layer shall be in accordance with the product standard.
If the viscosity of the coating paint is high, it is allowed to add diluent to dilute it, but the amount of diluent added shall not exceed 20% of the original paint amount. The amount of coating paint used shall be calculated based on the original paint.
This test is carried out under constant temperature and humidity conditions. III. Result evaluation
The sample is qualified if there is no condensation on the painted surface, the paint film is evenly distributed, there is no whitening, spots and bubbles, and there is no dripping on the back of the cloth.
