Summary:
This part of GB/T 14598 specifies the general requirements for the measurement of radio frequency emissions generated by measuring relays and protection devices used for power system protection (including control, monitoring and processing interface equipment used in these systems). It is based on GB 9254 (see Appendix A). This part specifies the acceptable limits for conducted and radiated emissions and describes the test procedures. The purpose of the test is to confirm that the equipment under test does not produce conducted or radiated emissions that exceed the above specified limits and may affect the normal operation of other equipment. Any equipment or part of equipment with basic functions of radio transmission and (or) reception is not included in this part. The requirements specified in this part apply to new measuring relays and protection devices, and all the tests specified are type tests only.
