This standard is applicable to the determination of the amount of large particles in disperse dyes and vat dyes: the single layer cloth filtration method is adopted, the method is to prepare the dye into a slurry and filter it with a single layer of cloth, and then the sample filter cloth and the rating sample card are evaluated. Materials and instruments
Porcelain funnel: cloth funnel with a diameter of 9cm.
Stainless steel ring, outer diameter 88mm, inner diameter 80mm, thickness 5mm Suction filter bottle: capacity 1000ml.
Separating funnel: capacity 100ml.
Filter cloth material: 45*×45\pure polyester fabric, 32*×32pure cotton fabric.
Beaker: 250ml, 800ml.
Graduating cylinder, 100ml, 500ml.
Electromagnetic stirrer.
Level, sensitivity not more than 0.1g.
Polyurethane film.

Test method
3.1 Determination of large particles of disperse dyes
3.1.1 Preparation of total floating film of disperse dyes

Weigh 7.5g of disperse dye (accurate to 0.1g), put it in a beaker, mix it into a paste with 50ml of distilled water, then dilute it with 500ml of distilled water, put it on an electromagnetic stirrer and stir it for 5min before filtering. 3.1.2 Filtration of disperse dye suspension
First, cut the specified polyester fabric into filter cloth according to the inner diameter of the cloth, lay it flat on the cloth bucket, and wet it with a little distilled water. Put on the stainless steel ring.
Put the disperse dye suspension prepared in 3.1.1 through the filter device for pressure filtration (if there are too many large particles in the dye, the filtrate flow can be filtered for hours). The residual dye liquid in the beaker can be washed with distilled water several times, and the washing liquid is still poured into the bucket for filtration. When all the water on the filter cloth is filtered out, the filtration is completed, and the filter cloth is removed for pre-drying. 3.1.3 Pre-drying and post-treatment of disperse dye filter cloth The filter cloth is treated according to the provisions of the hot melt dyeing method in GB2394-80 "Determination of color and intensity of disperse dyes". After treatment, the filter cloth is dried.
3.1.4 Rating
Rating is carried out according to the standard sample card for rating of large particles of disperse dyes (see Appendix A). 3.2 Determination of large particles of vat dye
3.2.1 Preparation of vat dye suspension
Weigh 2g of vat dye (accurate to 0.1g), place in a beaker, mix with 3ml of distilled water to make a paste, then add distilled water to dilute to 100ml, place on an electromagnetic stirrer and stir for 5min to prepare for filtration. 3.2.2 Filtration of vat dye suspensionbZxz.net
Cut the specified cotton fabric into filter cloth according to the inner diameter of the filter cloth, and filter according to the method of 3.1.2. 3.2.3 Post-treatment of vat dye filter cloth
Treat the filter cloth in accordance with GB4466--8 "Determination of color and intensity of vat dye suspension" (the filter cloth should not be stirred when treated in the reducing solution to prevent the dye particles on the filter cloth from falling off). The treated filter cloth is dried and rated. 4 Rating
