3 Model compilation
3.1 The model is represented by capital letters and Arabic numerals in Chinese pinyin. JB/T 2599--1993
Replaces JB2599-85
3.2 The model consists of three sections. The first section is the number of single batteries in series, the second section is the battery type and characteristic code, and the third section is the rated capacity. When necessary, other codes can be marked after the rated capacity. 3.2.1 The number of single cells in series refers to the number of series-connected cells in an integral battery tank or an assembly box. When the number of single cells is "1", this paragraph should be omitted. 3.2.2 The types of batteries are mainly divided according to their uses and are marked according to the codes in Table 1. 3.2.3 Battery characteristics are additional parts. When batteries of the same type have certain characteristics and must be distinguished in the model, they should be marked with the codes in Table 2. When the battery has several characteristics at the same time, the codes should be marked in parallel in the order in Table 2. If one main characteristic can be clearly expressed, the code of the characteristic should be used to mark it. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry on August 21, 1993

Rated capacity is expressed in Arabic numerals, and its unit is ampere-hour (Ah). The unit is omitted in the model. Pinyin
3.2.5 When it is necessary to mark the special use environment that the battery can adapt to, it should be clearly marked at the end of the product model and on the relevant technical documents in accordance with the requirements of relevant standards and regulations. 3.2.6 Temporary codes are allowed to be marked at the end of the battery model. 3.2.7 For the models of batteries for export or samples, it is allowed to compile them according to the relevant agreements or contracts. 4 Naming
4.1 In principle, the naming of the battery name is determined according to its main purpose and should comply with the provisions of GB2900.11 standard. For example: lead-acid battery for starting;
lead-acid battery for motorcycle.
4.2 In special cases, multi-purpose batteries can follow the traditional name or be named according to the structural characteristics of the product. For example: fixed lead-acid battery;
small valve-controlled sealed lead-acid battery.
4.3 Under the premise that the battery type is determined, the battery name can also be determined according to its matching conditions or the names of relevant standards and regulations when necessary.
For example: lead-acid battery for special explosion-proof power supply device in coal mines. 4.4 If the battery has a certain feature or has several features at the same time, the feature or main feature must be listed in the middle of the battery name. To indicate the characteristics of the battery.
For example: fixed sealed lead-acid battery, maintenance-free lead-acid battery for starting.
When it is necessary to indicate that the battery can be used in a special environment, the special environment should be placed in front of the battery name to indicate the battery's adaptability 4.5
For example: humid tropical fixed lead-acid battery. Additional remarks:
This standard was proposed and managed by the Shenyang Battery Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. This standard was drafted by the Shenyang Battery Research Institute. The main drafter of this standard is Shen Jingping.
