This standard specifies the width series of mechanically extended screed plates for asphalt concrete pavers. This standard applies to mechanically extended screed plates for asphalt concrete pavers (hereinafter referred to as mechanically extended screed plates). 2 Terminology
2.1 Mechanically Extended Screed Plate
A screed plate that is fastened to another screed plate by fasteners to extend and widen it. 2.2 Mechanically Extended Screed Plate Width
The distance L between the two mounting surfaces of the mechanically extended screed plate is as shown in the figure below. 3
