This standard is formulated for the first time based on the data of on-site labor hygiene survey, epidemiological survey and animal experiment, and is used as a health standard for workplace environmental monitoring and health supervision. This standard shall be implemented from May 1, 2002. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. The responsible drafting unit of this standard: Zhejiang Medical University; participating drafting unit: Yuhang Municipal Health and Epidemic Prevention Station. The main drafters of this standard are: Zeng Zhaoyu, Yang Saili, Zhang Qifeng, and Sun Yongtao. This standard specifies the maximum allowable concentration, time-weighted average allowable concentration and monitoring and inspection methods of bentonite dust in the air of workplace. This standard is applicable to all types of industrial enterprises that produce and use bentonite. 2 Referenced Standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. The maximum permissible concentration of bentonite dust containing less than 10% free silicon dioxide in the workshop air is 10mg/m3, and the time-weighted average permissible concentration is 6mg/m3.
4 Monitoring and inspection methods
The determination of bentonite dust concentration and free silicon dioxide content in the workplace air shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T5748. Approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China on December 4, 2001 and implemented on May 1, 2002wwW.bzxz.Net
