GB/T5480 "Test methods for mineral wool and its products" is divided into the following 7 parts: Part 1: General;
-Part 2: Verticality and flatness;
-Part 3: Size and density;
Part 4: Average fiber diameter;
-Part 5: Slag shot content;
Part 6: Acidity coefficient;bZxz.net
Part 7: Hygroscopicity.
This part is Part 6 of GB/T5480. This part replaces GB/T5480.6-1985 "Determination method for acidity coefficient of mineral wool and its products". Compared with GB/T5480.6-1985, the main changes of this part are as follows: the foreword is added;
normative references are added;
GB/T 5480.6--2004
the determination method of aluminum oxide content is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T1549-1994, and the I method-zinc acetate back titration method is added.
Please note that some contents of this standard may involve patent content, and the issuing agency of this standard shall not bear the responsibility of identifying these patents. This part is proposed by China Building Materials Industry Association. This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Thermal Insulation Materials (SAC/TC191). The drafting unit of this part: Nanjing Glass Fiber Research and Design Institute. The main drafters of this part: Sha Deren, Ge Dunshi, Chen Shang. This part was first issued in October 1985. 1 Scope
Test methods for mineral wool and its products
Part 6: Acidity coefficient

GB/T1549-1994 Chemical analysis methods for sodium-lime-silicon-aluminum-boron glass GB/T5480.1--2004 Test methods for mineral wool and its products Part 1: General 3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions established in Chapter 3 of GB/T5480.1-2004 apply to this part. 4 Test conditions
According to the provisions of Chapter 4 of GB/T5480.1-2004. 5 Sample preparation
Select samples according to the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB/T5480.1--2004. Randomly select about 50g of the analysis sample, mix and reduce to (5~~10)g, grind in an agate mortar until all pass through a 80μum aperture sieve, and store in a weighing bottle. For samples containing binders, the binders should be removed by burning at (550 ± 20) °C for more than 30 minutes before grinding. The ground samples should be placed in an oven at (105-110) °C and dried for more than 1 hour, and placed in a desiccator for later use.
6 Analysis steps
6.1 Silicon dioxide
According to the provisions of GB/T1549-19945.1. 6.2 Aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, and magnesium oxide Weigh about 0.5g of the sample from the sample, accurate to 0.1mg, and place it in a platinum crucible. Moisten it with water, wear acid-resistant gloves, add 4 to 5 drops of 1+1 sulfuric acid and about 10ml of hydrofluoric acid, heat at low temperature on an electric furnace in a fume hood to evaporate until nearly dry, then increase the temperature to drive away the white smoke of sulfur trioxide, and continue heating for several minutes. After cooling, add (2-3)g potassium pyrosulfate, heat on an electric furnace to make it initially melted, then move to a (600-700)℃ blowtorch and carefully melt until the melt becomes transparent, then cool. Use hot water to leach the melt into a 250ml beaker, add (3-5)ml of 1+1 sulfuric acid, and heat to make the solution clear. After cooling, transfer the solution into a 250ml volumetric flask, dilute to the mark, and shake to hook. This test solution (A) is used to determine ferric oxide, aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, and magnesium oxide. The following is carried out in accordance with the provisions of 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7 of GB/T1549-1994.
