This standard is based on the requirements of the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision to clean up and rectify national standards. The original national standard GB6293.2-1986 "Twist Pliers and Flat Nose Pliers" was changed to an industry standard (this standard was issued by the National Light Industry Bureau [19991112 Document] and converted to QB/T3851.2--1999, the content is the same as before). This standard is based on the original national standard GB6293.2--1986, and refers to the international standard ISO5745:1988 "Twist Pliers and Shearing Pliers-Twist Pliers Dimensions and Test Values", and cancels the "A" and "B" classification of the bending strength of the pliers handle in the original national standard. From the date of implementation, this standard will replace GB6293.2-1986. This standard is proposed by the Industry Management Department of the State Bureau of Light Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Tool Hardware Standardization Center. The responsible drafting unit of this standard is Shanghai Tool Industry Research Institute; participating drafting units are Beijing Telecom Tool Factory, Jiangsu Jinlu Group Corporation, Zhangjiagang Zhongxin Hardware Tools Co., Ltd., etc. The main drafters of this standard are Lin Meide, Wang Rujie, Shao Xuehai, Huang Yongxiang. 698
