Determination of hygroscopic moisture
Antimony concentrates-Determination of hygroscopic moisture
Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the method for the determination of hygroscopic moisture content in antimony concentrate. This standard is applicable to the determination of hygroscopic moisture content in antimony concentrate. Determination range: 0.1%~~~12%. 2 Reference standards
GB1.4 Standardization work guidelines Chemical analysis method standard preparation regulations GB1467 General principles and general provisions for chemical analysis methods for metallurgical products GB7146 Sampling and sample preparation methods for bagged ores
3 Method summary
The sample is dried at 100~105℃, and the wet water content is determined by weight method. 4 Instruments
4.1 Balance, sensitivity 1mg.
4.2 Balance, sensitivity 0.5g.
4.3 Weighing bottle, 60mm×35mm.
4.4 Drying tray, a rectangular anti-corrosion metal tray with a bottom area of 300~500cm2. 4.5 Electric constant temperature drying oven, which can maintain a temperature of 100105℃. 5 Laboratory samples
5.1 For powder concentrate samples, the particle size should be less than 0.2 mm. 5.2 For lump concentrate samples, the moisture determination samples should be prepared according to GB7146 and stored in a sealed container. 6 Analysis stepsbZxz.net
6.1 Test materials
6.1.1 For powder concentrate, weigh 10.000 g of laboratory sample using a balance (4.1) with an accuracy of 0.001 g. 6.1.2 For lump concentrate, weigh 1000.0 g of sample using a balance (4.2) with an accuracy of 0.5 g. Perform two independent measurements and take the average value. 6.2 Determination
6.2.1 Determination of moisture content in powder concentrate Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 11, 1994 GB/T 15080.4-94
Implementation on December 1, 1994
GB/T 15080.4-94
Spread the sample (6.1.1) evenly in a weighing bottle (4.3) that has been dried to constant weight at 100-105℃ in advance, dry it in an electric constant temperature drying oven (4.5) at 100-105℃ for 2h, take it out, cool it to room temperature in a desiccator, and weigh it. Repeat the drying for 3Jmin until constant weight (the difference between two consecutive weighings is not more than 0.002g). 6.2.2 Determination of wet water content in lump concentrate Spread the sample (6.1.2) evenly on a drying tray (4.4) of known weight, dry it in an electric constant temperature drying oven (4.5) at 100-105℃ for 2h, take it out, cool it to room temperature in the drying oven, and weigh it. Repeat the drying for 30min until constant weight is reached (i.e. the difference between two consecutive weighings is not greater than 0.5g).
7 Expression of analysis results
Calculate the percentage of wet water content according to the following formula: m = m2 × 100
HO(%) =
Mass of sample weighing container·g:
Where: m. -
mt-Total mass of sample and sample weighing container before drying, g, m2~-Total mass of sample and sample weighing container after drying, g. The result is expressed to two decimal places.
8 Allowable Difference
The difference in analysis results between laboratories should not be greater than the allowable difference listed in the following table. %
Wet storage water content
1. 00~5. 00
>5. 00~12. 00
