This standard specifies the nominal pressure, nominal diameter, specifications and dimensions, connection structure, technical conditions, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polypropylene/glass reinforced plastic (PP/FRP) composite pipes and fittings. This standard applies to composite pipes and fittings with polypropylene pipe as inner lining and reinforced plastic glass reinforced plastic wrapped with glass fiber or its fabric as reinforcement layer. The range of use media is the same as that of polypropylene pipe, mainly used for conveying corrosive media such as acid, alkali, salt, etc., and can also be used for conveying drinking water. Notice on Issuing the Chemical Industry Standard "Polypropylene/Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (PP/FRP) Composite Pipes and Fittings" To all provincial, autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government, and independently planned cities, and all relevant design units: The "Polypropylene/Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (PP/FRP) Composite Pipes and Fittings" formulated by the Process Piping Design Technology Center of our Ministry has been reviewed and approved as a recommended chemical industry standard, numbered HG/T21579-95. It will be implemented from September 1, 1995. The Process Piping Design Technology Center of our Ministry is responsible for the management of this standard; the Engineering Construction Standard Editing Center of our Ministry is responsible for publishing and issuing it.
