Picture image areas and photographic sound record on 16mm motion-picture release prints - positions and dimensions1.1 This standard applies to 16mm motion-picture release prints. UDC78.634
GB5299—85www.bzxz.net
1.2 This standard specifies the picture area on 16mm motion-picture release prints and the position and dimensions of the optical sound track corresponding to the base. 1.3 This standard also specifies the lateral length and position dimensions of the optical blade on the sound track. 2 Positions and dimensions
The position and dimensions of each item are shown in the following figure and table. Through the two centers

2.2 The recording and reproducing blades should be placed at a position 90±5 to the film reference edge. 2.8 The dimensions listed are for films with a safe film base that does not exceed the allowable shrinkage range. 3 Sound and picture frame distance
For films that are usually shown, the sound track recorded on the film should be in front of the corresponding picture based on the film running direction. According to the provisions of GB2926-82 "Technical Specifications for Title Headers and Ends for 35mm and 16mm Film Distribution Films", the distance from the horizontal center line of the picture to the corresponding sound track should be 26±1 frame. Emulsion surface orientation
When 16mm sound films are projected directly frontally, the process of printing with the emulsion surface facing the projector lens should be preferred. Note: 1mm films can also be produced with the emulsion surface facing the projector light source, but the emulsion surface orientation in the same film should not be different, and the emulsion surface orientation should be indicated on the film box label.
5 Sound reproduction speed
The soundtrack of 16mm sound films should be recorded and reproduced at the normal projection speed of 24 frames per second. Additional notes:
