3 Terminology
Basic Technical Requirements for Power Cable Accessories with Rated Voltages of 26/35kV and Below 3.1 Except as provided in this standard, all terms shall be defined in GB2900.10 and GB11033. 3.2 Power cable accessories
The power cable accessories specified in this standard refer to various joints and terminals of power cables with rated voltage of 35kV and below. 3.3 Wrapping cable accessories
Cable joints and terminals formed by wrapping self-adhesive rubber tape around the treated cables at the installation site. 3.4 Heat shrinkable cable accessories
Cable joints and terminals formed by heating and shrinking heat shrinkable components (including various pipes, gloves and rain covers, etc.) on the treated cables at the installation site.
3.5 Cold shrinkable cable accessories
Rubber components with internal supports (including joint sleeves, terminal sleeves and gloves, etc.) are put on the treated cables at the installation site, and the supports are pulled out to shrink them tightly to form cable joints and terminals on the cables. 3.6 Prefabricated assembled cable accessories
Cable joints and terminals are formed by using rubber pre-molded parts (including joint sleeves, terminal sleeves, stress cones and rain covers, etc.) to be put on the treated cables at the installation site. 3.7 Prefabricated plug-in cable accessories
Cable joints and terminals are formed by using rubber pre-molded parts (including joints and terminal parts) to be first put on the treated cables and then inserted into electrical equipment or cables to be plugged into each other. 3.8 Resin cast cable accessories
Cable joints and terminals are formed by using thermosetting resin materials to be cast on the treated cables at the installation site. 3.9 Molded cable accessories
Cable joints and terminals are formed by using strips that are the same or similar to the cable insulation, wrapped around the treated cables at the installation site, and heated and pressed by molds.
3.10 Cast-in-place cable accessories
Cable joints or terminals formed by pouring liquid or heated fluid-like insulating materials into the assembled cable accessory housing at the installation site.
3.11 Equipment-type terminals
Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry on August 6, 1992 and implemented on January 1, 1993
