This standard applies to axial suction centrifugal pumps with a maximum working pressure level of 16 bar*. This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO2858-1975 "Axial Suction Centrifugal Pumps (16 bar Class)-Marking, Rated Performance Points and Dimensions".
Note: The working pressure is the discharge pressure of the pump within the allowable working range, including the suction force. 1 Marking
The marking of the pump consists of a number. The first part indicates the diameter of the suction port, the second part indicates the diameter of the discharge port, and the third part indicates the nominal diameter of the impeller.
Marking example:
A centrifugal pump with a suction port diameter of 80mm, a discharge port diameter of 50mm, and a nominal impeller diameter of 250mm is marked as 80~50-250. 2 Performance and size
The design point performance and overall dimensions of the pump shall comply with the provisions of Figure 1 and Table 1. For shapes and dimensions not specified, the drawings approved by the prescribed procedures shall prevail.
The threaded holes of all pipe fittings shall be manufactured in accordance with the non-threaded sealing pipe threads in Appendix C (reference) of GB5657-85 "Technical Conditions for Single-stage Single-suction Clean Water Centrifugal Pumps".
The direction of rotation of the pump is clockwise when viewed from the drive end. The recommended range of flow and head is shown in Figure 2. The limit deviation of the overall dimensions of the pump shall comply with the provisions of Figure 3 and Table 2. 9 Hydrostatic test
The hydrostatic test pressure should be 1.5 times the working pressure, but not more than 24bar. The relationship between the cold test pressure and the hot working pressure should be discussed by the manufacturer and the user.
