JB/T 50177-1999 This standard is a revision of ZB J01 027-88 "Classification of Power Consumption in the Formation Process of Lead-acid Batteries". This standard specifies the power consumption level of the formation process of lead-acid batteries. This standard applies to starting lead-acid batteries and industrial lead-acid batteries. The formation process is divided into first, second and third grades according to the average power consumption of qualified plates per kilovolt-ampere. Those whose average power consumption does not meet the third grade index are classified as out-of-grade. This standard was first issued on November 13, 1988.
