This standard specifies the terms and graphic symbols of various types of hooks used in various lifting machinery. The Chinese and English comparison table of the terms of lifting hooks is shown in Appendix A (Supplement). 2 Classification and graphic symbols
Lifting hooks are classified and their graphic symbols are specified as follows: by connector (see 2.1),
by shape (see 2.1),
c. by purpose (see 2.2).
