1 Terminology
1.1 End load: the axial force acting on the filter element end that can cause permanent deformation and damage the sealing performance. 1.2 Rated end load: the maximum allowable axial load acting on the filter element end that does not cause permanent deformation and damage the sealing performance. 2 Test equipment
The equipment suitable for adding axial load to the filter element should be able to simulate the installation and stress conditions of the filter element under test. 3 Test procedures
3.1 Test in accordance with the procedures specified in GB 8243.2-87 Test methods for diesel full-flow lubricating filters - determination of filter element manufacturing performance.
3.2 Test in accordance with the procedures specified in GB8248.3-87 "Test methods for diesel full-flow lubricating filter - resistance to high pressure and high manganese".
3.3 Apply the specified axial load to the filter element for 5 minutes, and there should be no obvious signs of damage to the structure and sealing performance. 3.4 According to the provisions of 3.1, the full core of the test shall be tested for completeness. 4 Test report
