ISO Foreword
The ISO International Standards Organization (IS) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (IS() member bodies). The development of international standards is carried out under the ISO technical committees. Every member body interested in the subject covered by a technical committee has the right to participate in the technical committee. International organizations, governmental or non-governmental, in liaison with ISO may also participate in this work. 1 ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) work closely together in the standardization of electrotechnical technology. Draft international standards adopted by the technical committees shall be sent to the member bodies for voting before being approved as international standards by the ISO Board of Directors. According to the ISO standard setting procedure, an international standard shall be approved by at least 75% of the member bodies for it to become an international standard. This international standard ISO 13343:1995 was prepared by ISO/TC 188\Small craft\Technical Committee. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the measurement and expression of the thrust of the outboard motor in the stationary state to determine whether the starting and running protection required by ISO 11547 is required.
2 Referenced Standards
The following standards contain provisions that, through their use in this standard, constitute the provisions of this standard. The versions indicated are valid at the time of publication of this standard. All standards will be reviewed and the parties who use this standard should discuss the possibility of using the following standards to form a new version: 1SO11547:1894 Small power start-up and commissioning maintenance 3 Definitions
This standard adopts the following definitions.
3.1 Thrust
The horizontal force that an outboard motor can produce. N.
3.2 The declarative value of the maximum thrust is the average value of the thrust that can be maintained within ±10% of the thrust within a specified setting position for at least 10 seconds. 4 Outboard Motor
4.1 When a finished outboard motor is tested for calibration, the test machine should be a prototype of the finished outboard motor. 4.2. The test machine shall be operated, adjusted and maintained in accordance with the technical specifications of the manufacturer. 4.3 The test machine shall be adjusted only in accordance with the specifications contained in the supplied adjustment kit and in accordance with the manufacturer's written instructions in the product sample manual. Unless otherwise specified in the instructions of this kit, any throttle limiter for straightening or stopping the machine shall remain in place.
5 Test conditions and procedures
5.1 The test shall be conducted in still water between sea level and 2.30 m above the highest sea level. 5.2 The shallowest water depth below the center of the propeller shall be 1 times the diameter of the propeller beam. 5.3 The thrust of the test shall be measured by an instrument sensor calibrated to within 2% of the maximum thrust observed. 5.4 There shall be no protruding obstructions below the water level before operation or operation of the propeller to prevent the inflatable gas from escaping. There shall be a smooth flow slope in front of and behind the propeller and within 7m of the reverse direction. 5.5 The directional position of the test machine shall be adjusted so that the propeller is at a sufficient depth below the water, or at a depth required by the manufacturer, to allow for the required depth. 5.6 During the thrust determination, the slurry discharge shall be parallel to the water surface. In addition, the resistance stop from the test device to the follow-up point shall be parallel to the water surface. °. 6 Data Notes
18572—2001
6.1 Any thrust specification shall include the forward and reverse thrust corresponding to the speed achieved by the engine and shall be limited to the standard series of propellers manufactured by the outboard engine and sold through normal distribution channels. 6.2 The specification shall include propeller point light, pitch and parts, as well as identification marks of any parts used to complete the outboard engine or propeller in any way. wwW.bzxz.Net
6.3 Correction factors shall not be applied to observed thrust values. The middle and lower propellers exhaust air, so the typical thrust is irregular, therefore, the average reverse thrust value should be used:
