4.0.1 Gaskets are made of metal toothed rings and non-metallic flat materials such as flexible graphite or polytetrafluoroethylene sheets on the upper and lower surfaces, as shown in Figure 4.1.
4.0.2 Gaskets are divided into RF type and MFM type, which are suitable for raised face and concave and convex face flanges respectively, as shown in Figure 4.0.1. 4.0.3 Gasket size
1 The size of RF type gaskets for raised face flanges shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 4.0.31. 2 The size of MFM type gaskets for concave and convex face flanges shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 4.0.3-2. 3 The gasket sizes listed in Table 4.0.3-1~2 are suitable for steel pipe flanges of the two steel pipe outer diameter series A and B listed in IIG20592.

6 Marking and packaging
6.0.1 Gaskets shall be packed according to type, specification and material, and shall be accompanied by a product quality inspection certificate upon delivery. RF type gaskets shall be marked with a steel stamp on the outer ring, and MFM type gaskets shall be marked with a label indicating the contents specified in 6.0.2. 6.0.2 Marking contents
