Summary:
This standard specifies the test method and evaluation of the combustion performance of carpet samples placed at a 45° angle under controlled laboratory conditions. This standard is applicable to carpets of various fiber components and organizational structures. The test results obtained in this standard are not applicable to the evaluation of the combustion performance of carpets at other test positions and the hazard of carpets under actual fire conditions.
