Dimensions and Deviations This standard amends GB/T14981—1991: The main technical differences between this standard and IS()/DIS16121 are: This standard only selects the circular cross-section wire rod part in 130/LIS15124, and appropriately narrows the nominal diameter range of the wire rod: ·…Specify the degree requirements of different groups: Add the definition of Article 2.4;
Add the requirement for wire rod weight.
The main changes of this standard compared with GR\T14981-1994 are as follows: expansion of nominal diameter of wire rod (expanding the nominal diameter range from 5.5mm~30mm to 5mm10mn); 1 (raising the nominal diameter of 15mm from the original third grade to the first grade); Table 1 (increasing the allowable deviation of diameter to Class A precision and Class B precision); 2.2 tightening the indicators (the allowable deviation of the original diameter shall not exceed ±50mm. The out-of-roundness shall not exceed .80mm and the allowable deviation of the diameter shall not exceed ±0.49mm); Chapter 3 (reducing the number of groups from 5 to 2) cancelling the original Article 3.2;

3 Weight
3.1 The theoretical weight of the wire rod is listed in Table 1. The thickness is calculated as 7.85 cm. 3.2 The group of hot wire rods shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 2. The number of coils in each batch (2 coils are allowed if less than 2 coils) shall consist of two rods. The group of wire rods shall be clearly marked.
