This part is the 4th part of GB/T4459. This part replaces GB/T4459.4-1984 "Mechanical drawing spring drawing method". Compared with GB/T4459.4-1984, the main changes of this part of the revision are as follows: - Modify some contents of the spring drawing method in Chapter 5 assembly drawings; - Change "p\" in the figure of Appendix A to "F", where F is the load code; - Arrange the contents of the original standard in form according to the requirements of GB/T1.1-2000. Appendix A of this part is an informative appendix.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions established in GB/T 1805 apply to this part. 4 Views, views and schematic drawings of springs 4.1 Helical spring
4.1.1 In the view of the projection plane parallel to the axis of the helical spring, the outlines of each coil should be drawn as a straight line and in accordance with Table 1 and Table 2. , and drawn in the form of Table 3.
4.1.2 All helical springs can be drawn as right-handed, and the requirements for the direction of rotation that must be guaranteed should be indicated in the "Technical Requirements". 4.1.3 For helical compression springs, if the two ends are required to be tightened and ground flat, regardless of the number of turns of the support ring and the tightness of the ends, they shall be drawn in the form of Table 1.
If necessary, they can also be drawn according to the actual structure of the support ring. 4.1.4 Helical tension springs are drawn in the form of Table 2. 4.1.5 Cylindrical helical torsion springs are drawn in the form of Table 3. 4.1.6 Truncated cone scroll springs (truncated cone helical springs made of strip material) are drawn in the form of Table 4. 4.1.7 The middle part of a helical spring with more than four effective turns can be omitted. After the middle part of the cylindrical helical spring is omitted, the length of the figure is allowed to be appropriately shortened, and the middle part of the truncated cone scroll spring is omitted and connected with a thin solid line. 4.5 Leaf spring
The view of leaf spring is generally drawn according to the shape in the free state. 5 Drawing of spring in assembly drawing
5.1 The structure blocked by the spring is generally not drawn, and the visible part should be drawn from the outer contour line of the spring or from the center line of the spring wire section (Figure 1).
5.2 Helical springs, disc springs, and leaf springs with small profile size (diameter or thickness equal to or less than 2mm in the drawing) are allowed to be represented by schematic diagrams (Figures 2, 4, and 5). When the spring is cut, it can also be indicated by blackening (Figure 6). 5.3 The cross-sectional size of the cut spring is equal to or less than 2mm in the figure, and there are parts inside the spring. For the convenience of expression, it can be represented in the form of a schematic diagram in Figure 3.
5.4 For disc springs with more than four bundles, the middle part is omitted and the outline range is drawn with a thin solid line (Figure 4). 5.5 Leaf springs are allowed to only draw the outer wheel (Figure 7, Figure 8). 5.6 The assembly drawing method of the plane scroll spring is shown in Figure 9.伊

This appendix lists some commonly used legends. When drawing, the contents of the legends should be appropriately increased or decreased according to the actual needs. A.1 Several requirements
A.1.1 The parameters of the spring should be directly marked on the drawing. When direct marking is difficult, it can be explained in the "Technical Requirements". A.1.2 Generally, the spring characteristics are represented by a diagram. The mechanical performance curves of cylindrical helical compression (tension) springs are all drawn as straight lines and marked above the main view. The mechanical performance curves of cylindrical helical torsion springs are generally drawn above the left view, and can also be drawn above the main view. The performance curves are drawn as straight lines.
The mechanical performance curve (or straight line form) is drawn with a thick solid line. A.1.3 When only the stiffness requirements are given for some springs, it is allowed not to draw the mechanical performance diagram, but to explain the stiffness requirements in the "Technical Requirements".
