This part specifies the dimensions and tolerances of push tubes for die casting dies. This part is applicable to push tubes used in die casting dies. This part also gives material guidelines and hardness requirements, and specifies the marking of push tubes. 2 Normative references

Material is selected by the manufacturer, and 4Cr5MoSiV1 and 3Cr2W8V are recommended. Hardness 45HRC~~~50HRC

After quenching, the surface can be nitrided, the depth of the nitrided layer is 0.08mm~0.15mm, the core hardness is 40HRC~44HRC, and the surface hardness is ≥900 HV.
5 Technical requirements
Should meet the requirements of GB/T4679-2003. 6 Marking
The push tube according to this part should have the following markings: a) Push tube;
Diameter D of the push tube, in millimeters;
Length L of the push tube, in millimeters;
d) Shoulder thickness π of the push tube, in millimeters; e) Code of this part, i.e. GB/T4678.17-2003. Example:
D=2mm, L=80mm, h=5mm push tube is marked as follows: Push tube 2X80×5GB/T 4678.17-—200373
