Summary:
This standard specifies the gravimetric method for determining total suspended particulate matter. This standard is suitable for the determination of total suspended particulate matter in the air using a large or medium flow total suspended particulate matter sampler (referred to as sampler). The detection limit of the method is 0.001/m?3. This method is not applicable when the total suspended particulate matter content is too high or the filter membrane resistance is greater than 10 kPa when sampling in foggy weather.
