This standard is a revision of JB/Z254-85 "Numbering method for technological documentation". Only editorial changes were made during the revision, and the main technical content remained unchanged.
This standard replaces JB/Z254-85 from the date of implementation. Appendix A of this standard is a prompt appendix.

Numbering method for technical documentation This standard applies to the numbering of various types of process documents commonly used by various machinery manufacturing enterprises. 2Referenced standards

The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and the parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. 3.1All formal process documents must have independent numbers. The same number can only be assigned to one process document. Note: A process document refers to the smallest unit process document that can be used alone, such as the casting process card, machining process card, and machining process card of a certain part, which are all the smallest unit process documents that can be used alone. 3.2 When the same document consists of several pages, each page should be filled with the same number. 3.3 When citing and borrowing a process document, its number should be indicated. 3.4 The number of the process document should be filled in according to the position specified in JB/T9165.2 and JB/T9165.3. 4 Composition of the number
4.1 The composition of the process document number is recommended in the following two forms, and each enterprise can choose one according to its own situation. 4.1.1 It consists of two parts: the process document feature number and the registration sequence number, and the two parts are separated by a line. Registration sequence number generally starts from 1 and increases continuously in each document feature number, and the number of digits is determined according to needs. 4.3
5 Code compilation rules and registration method
5.1 The process document type code is specified in Table 1. The process method code is specified in Table 2.
5.3 The registration sequence number is uniformly given by the process standard department of each enterprise. 5.4 The process documents need to be registered when they are numbered. The registration form is recommended to be in Appendix A (the appendix of the suggestion). Process documents with different characteristic numbers cannot be registered in the same registration form. 5.5
Process documents that have been re-painted after multiple modifications should have A, B, C, etc. added after their original numbers to distinguish them. 5.6

3.1All formal process documents must have independent numbers. The same number can only be assigned to one process document. 5 Code compilation rules and registration method
5.1 The process document type code is specified in Table 1. The process method code is specified in Table 2.
5.3 The registration sequence number is uniformly given by the process standard department of each enterprise. 5.4 The process documents need to be registered when they are numbered. The registration form is recommended to be in Appendix A (the appendix of the suggestion). Process documents with different characteristic numbers cannot be registered in the same registration form. 5.5
Process documents that have been re-painted after multiple modifications should have A, B, C, etc. added after their original numbers to distinguish them. 5.6
