1-1. This standard specifies the raw materials, composition ratio, packaging, storage and use conditions of simulated atmospheric dust. Simulated atmospheric dust is suitable for simulating urban atmospheric dust polluted by industrial pollution to test the performance of air filters; the atmospheric dust concentration is 1.2
simulated, and can be used as a reference when cooperating with the performance test of other environmental protection equipment. Terms, symbols, definitions
Particle size dp—For atmospheric dust, it refers to the Stokes equivalent diameter of dust particles measured by liquid sedimentation method; for fiber dust, its projection diameter is observed by a microscope; the particle size of carbon black is provided by the product supply department. The unit of particle size is expressed in um. 2-2 Particle size distribution refers to the proportion of the components of dust in each particle size classification interval. This standard refers to the mass percentage relationship, and the total (i.e. the sum of each component) is 100%. 2.3 Screen rate R (%) - refers to the percentage of the cumulative mass of the particles larger than a certain particle size 4p to the overall mass of the dust. Undersize rate D (%)
- refers to the percentage of the cumulative mass of the particles smaller than a certain particle size d force to the overall mass of the dust. R and D are in a five-complement relationship, i.e. R+D=100%. 2-5 Median diameter dp50 - refers to the particle size value corresponding to the place where the screen rate R and the screen rate D are exactly 50%, and the unit is expressed in μm. 26
True density.
The ratio of the dust mass after the gas inside and between the dust particles is removed to the actual volume it occupies is expressed in g/em. wwW.bzxz.Net

Thermal analysis instruments can be used to measure the thermogravimetric changes of simulated atmospheric dust, and the content of (cotton or paper) short fibers and carbon black contained in the dust can be calculated.
4.2 The content of the three materials in the dust can also be analyzed by heating and roasting in an electric furnace and then weighing them separately. The analysis steps are as follows 4 2 1 Place the dust sample in a temperature-controlled electric furnace and dry it continuously at a temperature of 105-180 C + 2 h; then dry the cold part and weigh it as A (g)
4.2.2 Put the dust sample into the furnace and send it into the furnace again to keep it at 380-420℃ for 1h, then cool it and weigh it again. The weight of the dust is B (g):
4-2-3 Put the dust weighing B (g) together with its additives into the furnace again and keep it at 800-900℃ for 2h. After cooling, the weight of the glue is C ().
4.2-4 Calculate by weight:
Short (cotton) fiber content G (%) = (AB)/A×100 Carbon black content ± G (%) = (BC)/A×100 Loess dust content G = ( %)=C/A×100

GB1327091
Simulated atmospheric dust should be stored in a sealed room temperature, with a validity period of 2 years. Take out the amount used before use and dry it at 105-120℃ for 2h, then place it in a dryer and take it out as needed. If the dust is found to be agglomerated before use, it should be slightly treated before use. The residue after use shall not be recycled and reused.
