1 Subject content and scope of application

QB/T1808—1993
The grain side and flesh side of the colored leather test piece are attached to the white cotton standard interlining and soaked in distilled water. After 15 minutes, the test piece and the stained white cotton standard interlining are dried separately. Observe the color change of the grain side and flesh side of the test piece and use the grey scale for assessing staining to identify the staining grade of the white cotton standard interlining.
4 Apparatus
4.1 The area of ​​the flat bottom is larger than 5cm×5cm. 4.2 Polished glass sheet: 5cm×5cm or slightly larger, weighing (50±1)g. 4.3 White cotton standard backing: two pieces of 5cm×5cm, in accordance with the provisions of GB/T7565. 4.4 Grey card for staining assessment: in accordance with the provisions of GB/T251. 4.5 Oven: maintained at (37±2)℃.
5 Test piece
Place the 5cmX4cm test piece to be tested between two pieces of white cotton standard backing, so that the white cotton standard backing does not overlap with the test piece at 5cmX1cm, and sew the shared 5cm side together to form a combined test piece. 6 Operation
Place the combined test piece flat on the flat bottom, immerse it in distilled water, cover it with a glass plate, and press it evenly by hand to remove air bubbles, and place it in the room for 15 minutes.
Pour out the water without removing the glass plate, and place in an oven at a temperature of (37±2)℃ for 4h. Separate the test piece from the white cotton standard interlining, and dry them separately at room temperature. Observe the color change of the grain surface and flesh surface of the test piece, and use the gray scale for staining assessment to identify the staining grade of the white cotton standard interlining that is attached to the grain surface and flesh surface of the test piece. 7 Test report
