This standard is a revision of JB/T5352394 "Multi-rope friction hoist product quality classification". The product standard based on this standard is GB/T10599-1998 "Multi-rope friction hoist". Compared with JB/T5352394, this standard has basically not changed the main technical content except for the editorial modification of the original standard. However, in order to be more perfect and accurate, the expression of some technical contents has been modified, and some specific contents have been supplemented, mainly: - the product standard based on it has been changed to the new standard GB/T10599-1998 - the specific size, accuracy, and surface roughness of the original standard inspection part in Table 4 have been cancelled and replaced with the functional name of the part; - the accuracy requirements related to the inspection part and the measuring point diameter are supplemented with different inspection requirements corresponding to different diameters of the measuring point. This standard replaces JB/T53523-94 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Mining Machinery. The responsible drafting unit of this standard: CITIC Heavy Machinery Company. The main drafters of this standard: Jiang Zhaoqiu, Zhang Yingshuang, Li Gang, Cai Jingying, Tian Min. This standard was first issued in November 1987 as JB/ZQ8116-87, and the standard number was adjusted to JB/T53523-94 in September 1994. 1 Scope

3.1 Grading Principles
The quality grade of the product is determined according to the adopted standards, the technical level of the product, the inspection of the finished product, the quality inspection in the production process and the user's evaluation opinions. It is divided into three grades: qualified products, first-class products and superior products. 3.1.1 Qualified products
