4 Application and performance
4.1 Horizontal internal broaching machine
The type of machine tool is shown in Figure 2.

Horizontal internal broaching machine without tailstock
Horizontal internal broaching machine is the basic series. The machine tool is suitable for mass production in the machinery manufacturing industry and is used to broach round holes, spline holes and other shaped forming holes.
The machine tool shall have the following performance characteristics:
The machine tool has a bed, a main slide, a tailstock, an auxiliary slide, a tool rest and other components and electrical, hydraulic, cooling and lubrication systems. The machine tool can realize automatic cycle (automatic tool feeding-broaching-tool withdrawal-tool receiving). The machine tool accuracy shall comply with the provisions of GB/T4680. The machine tool is a Class V precision machine tool specified in JB/T9871. Tailless horizontal internal broaching machine
The tailless horizontal internal broaching machine has the same purpose as the basic series machine tool, but is only suitable for broaching with short broaches and broaching that does not require automatic tool delivery. In addition to the tailstock and tool delivery device, the machine tool shall have the other structural features of the basic series. Approved by the State Machinery Industry Bureau on May 20, 1999 and implemented on January 1, 2000
