Summary:
This standard specifies the 180° peel test method for vulcanized rubber and metal. This standard is applicable to the determination of the 180° peel strength of vulcanized rubber and metal, and is also applicable to the determination of the 180° peel strength of other flexible materials and rigid materials. This standard is not applicable to materials with low flexibility that will crack or delaminate when bent 180°. Such materials can be subjected to a 90° peel test.
