JB/T 10232.1-2001 The types and sizes of metric thread taps in this standard are equivalent to the relevant parts of JIS B4430:1987 "Metric thread hand taps"; the types and sizes of 60° tapered pipe thread taps are equivalent to the relevant parts of ANSI B94.4:1987 "Cutting and grinding taps" in the United States. This standard specifies the basic requirements for the types, sizes, codes, and markings of taps, round dies and other accessories assembled into sets. This standard is applicable to complete sets of thread tools for repair. Processing metric threads M3~M24, unified threads №4~№12 and 1/4~1, 60° tapered pipe threads NPT1/8, NPT3/4.
