This standard is for shaft sealing devices used in stirred vessels in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, dye, and pharmaceutical industries. Its nominal pressure PN<0.1MPa is suitable for corrosive media and media temperatures <200℃, and shaft speeds <1m/s. 23

3 Technical requirements
The surface roughness parameter value of the shaft in contact with the stuffing box shall not exceed Ra3. 0.1
o. 8μmc).
3.0.2After the stuffing box is assembled, it must be tested with the equipment for water pressure test and air tightness test during operation. The test pressure and tightness requirements shall be in accordance with the equipment assembly drawing. 3.0.3The mechanical properties of studs and nuts shall be selected according to the national standard of 4.8 and 4 respectively, and the mechanical properties of washers shall be 140HV. 26
4 Notes
4.0.1The stuffing box shall be made of soft stuffing, which can be selected according to the operating requirements with reference to Appendix II and shall be indicated on the equipment assembly drawing.
4.0.2Two grades of stainless steel components of the stuffing box shall be selected, as shown in Table 4.0.2. Table 4.0.2
