1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the geometric accuracy and inspection method of roll forging machines. This standard is applicable to various types of roll forging machines for hot roll forging. Reference standards
GB10923 General rules for precision inspection of forging machinery
3 Basic requirements for precision inspection
3.1 During precision inspection, parts and mechanisms that affect the machine precision shall not be adjustedJB/T2403.2-96
Replace JB3846-85
3.2 When the measured length is different from that specified in this standard, the tolerance shall be converted according to the maximum length that may be measured. If the conversion result is less than 0.01mm, it shall still be calculated as 0.01mm.
3.3 The precision inspection sequence of this standard does not represent the actual inspection sequence. For the convenience of assembly and disassembly of inspection tools and inspection, inspections can be carried out in any order.
3.4 Precision inspection shall be carried out when the center distance between the upper and lower forging rollers is equal to the nominal diameter of the forging die. 4 Geometric precision inspection
Pre-adjustment inspection and precision inspection shall comply with the provisions of the following table. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery Industry on April 11, 1996
Implemented on June 10, 1996

Test method
Refer to Article 4.1 of GB10923
a. Place the spirit level in the middle of the machining plane at both ends of the machine base, as shown in the figure, and read the indicated value. b. Place both ends of the straight ruler on the machining planes at both ends of the machine base, with the straight ruler in the center, as shown in the figure, and read the indicated value
Test method
Refer to Article 5.6.1.2.1 of GB10923
Fix the indicator on the machine so that the indicator probe touches the surface of the upper (or lower) forging roller vertically, rotate the forging roller for at least one circle, and record the maximum difference in the indicator readings.
Should be measured at the left and right points of the die installation part, as shown in the figure

aOn 500 measuring length b. On the measuring length of 500, the nominal diameter of the forging die is ≤250. Inspection tool: indicator. Inspection method: refer to 5.4.1.2.2 and 5.4.1.2.3 of GB10923. a. Place the gauge on the surface of the lower forging roller and fix the indicator on the gauge so that the indicator head is on the generatrix of the upper forging roller and move the gauge to measure (Figure a). The error is measured by the maximum difference of the readings on the indicator. b Use the inspection flat plate to touch the upper and lower forging roller side mother
lines, and use a feeler gauge to measure the gap value (Figure b). The error is measured in terms of the gap value.
① When the axial positioning surface is a conical surface, place a flat ruler on the base, and use the angle template to close to the axial positioning angle template
surface of the upper (or lower) forging roller mold (Figure a), and then use a flat ruler to close to the angle template, find the highest point (or lowest point), and then move the angle template to the axial positioning surface of the lower (or upper) forging roller mold, and use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the angle template and the flat ruler inspection surface. The gap is the misalignment error.

②When the axial positioning surface is a plane
Use a flat ruler to lean against the positioning surface of the upper (or lower) forging roller, and use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the flat ruler inspection surface and the other positioning surface (see Figure b). This gap is the misalignment error
Refer to Article 5.4.2.1 of GB10923
Stop the upper and lower forging rollers at the position shown in the figure, so that the special indicator seat contacts the lower forging side busbar and the positioning surface of the fixed key mold, and the indicator probe contacts the upper forging roller fixed key mold positioning surface vertically. Move the special indicator seat for measurement (as shown in the figure). The error is calculated as the maximum difference in the indicator readings

Stop the upper and lower forging rollers at the position shown in the figure, and fit the ruler measuring surface to the positioning surface of the lower (or upper) forging roller fixed key die. At the middle position of the key length, use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the positioning surface of the upper (or lower) forging roller fixed key die and the ruler measuring surface. The gap value is the misalignment error
